Jeremy Lin is a prime example that hard work and dedication pays off! Over the past few weeks Linsanity has taken over the news, twitter, and the sports world. People cannot get enough of him!

What can we learn from Jeremy Lin?

1. Never Give Up. He was traded, benched, and looked past, but he never gave up. He kept working towards his goal. We have to do that as well. Whatever goal it is that you have, go after it. If doors keep getting shut in your face, don’t give up. One is bound to open.
2. Remain Humble. Jeremy Lin doesn’t boast in interviews about how amazing he is or how good he is doing, he remains humble. He talks about his teammates, not himself. He talks about how God is good and made all this possible. When things are going well for us, we have to remain humble. People will respect you more for it. No one likes a person who is self-absorbed. I am a strong believer in God. I give Him all the glory at all times because I know without Him I would not be where I am today.
3. Remain True To Yourself. Like Tim Tebow, Jeremy Lin is a Christian and not afraid to admit it. Whatever it is that you believe in, stay true to those beliefs and don’t be afraid to let the world know. At the end of the day, it is not the people of the world who I want to be pleased with me, it is my Creator in Heaven.
